It's an unfortunate reality, but finding a job in the last year has taken longer than many people expected. If you've changed jobs over the last 10 years your job search now is probably quite different this go around. That's one of the many reasons why this site was created. The Austin American Statesman recently ran an article hightlighting two individuals who have been out of work for a year. The reporter writing the story asked me to give helpful hints for people who might be in the same boat.
