I subscribe to a newsletter by Chris Brogan. If you've been on social networks such as Twitter or Facebook you may be familiar with him. He's always introducing others to cutting edge technologies and tends to be one of the first to know about all kinds of things. He's actually the main reason I got involved in social networks back in October of 2007.
Chris' newsletter today had a section about being laid off. For obvious reasons it intrigued me. I read it and then found that yesterday he also posted about a soon to be released movie entitled Lemonade.
Yes, you know the old adage, when life gives you lemons make lemonade. Sounds like a cheerful quote doesn't it? In the simple trailer for the movie it introduces us to a number of people who like so many others found themselves laid off. What did they do about it? They change their lives! They became passionate about the things that meant the most to them.
